💔 ROYALTY OF THE COBBLES: ANTONY COTTON “DEVASTATED” AFTER SHARING DEEPLY PERSONAL HEARTBREAK!

Coronation Street star Antony Cotton has shared his devastation after a heartbreaking personal loss. The Sean Tully actor revealed on Instagram that his friend Callum, who was a soldier, had died, posting a picture of the two together.

“I hope you’re at peace now Callum,” the soap star wrote. “We are all absolutely devastated. You were a great pal and a great soldier. We will miss you Callum – the blokes loved you. We all did.

“Rest easy mate. You were one of the very best. I’m sorry we couldn’t save you.”

Responding in the comments, one person wrote: “Hi Antony. I’m Callum’s uncle and godfather. Thank you for the kind words. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.”

Antony previously received an MBE for his services to British Army personnel and veterans, being an ambassador for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) military charity, as well as a Help For Heroes patron.

At the time, the actor said that “working with our amazing armed forces, in particular the Army, has truly been the greatest honour of [his] life”.

“To have a soldier, of any age or rank, come to me and entrust me with their stories, their experiences and especially their worries, has been life changing,” he added.
