Mckenzie Boyd has finally been found, but fans think scheming John Sugden will try to keep him quiet
ITV Emmerdale fans collectively let out a sigh of relief as Mackenzie Boyd was finally found after weeks of being trapped by the sneaky John Sugden.
Awaking from his own attack at the hands of John, Aaron Dingle spilled the truth in Thursday night’s episode – telling bemused mum Chas Dingle that it was John who threw him off the gorge after all.
Of course, fans were not fooled by this ruse, taking to ‘X’ to show their anger at John. @lori_sutton said: “Has anyone thought to phone Hotton General to get them to check the CCTV to see who brought Mack in???”
@seventiesstyle said: “John is bound to make a re-appearance at some point now he has dropped Mack off at the hospital: looking at a SSW where he comes back & drama occurs: with Aaron & Rob at the forefront please”

Yet, some fans think this is all one big part of some greater ploy from John, and not just some random move of regret or remorse. Fans are now predicting that John still wants to “finish the job” – but that he is biding his time.
@astrangepoetry said: “We’ll definitely get more in upcoming episodes because the john stuff is far from done but you only get once chance to really showcase the first time these characters find out the truth and they made it feel so flat!”
Now, while Mack’s fate remains unknown, it’s anyone’s guess whether John will follow through with his dastardly deeds.
