Fresh from one of the most chaotic finales in reality TV history, Adam Thomas has finally spoken out — and while he may be holding the crown, his message suggests the battle didn’t end on stage.
Despite being crowned Jungle Legend during Friday night’s dramatic live final, Adam appeared visibly deflated after a series of explosive confrontations led by Jimmy Bullard and David Haye — both of whom publicly challenged his behaviour.
Now, in a heartfelt Instagram post, Adam has hit back — not with anger, but with pointed reflection.

He wrote that he walked through the journey “with my heart first, no matter what came my way,” admitting it “was not always easy” and that there were moments “that could have broken me.” But, he insisted, staying true to himself is what matters most.
Then came the line that’s got fans talking: he said he had realised that when people try to dim your light, it says more about them than it ever will about you.
Without naming names, the message landed loud and clear.
Adam also reflected on how the experience revealed his inner strength — not because of the title, but because he “stayed kind, stayed grounded and stayed real” throughout the storm.

A victory overshadowed by chaos
The aftermath of the final has been just as dramatic as the show itself. Adam notably skipped the spin-off show Unpacked, fuelling concern among fans that the night’s tension had taken its toll.
During the live broadcast, things spiralled when Jimmy went head-to-head with fellow campmates, accusing Adam of being “aggressive and abusive” during an unaired argument from their time in camp.
Backed by David Haye, Jimmy demanded answers live on air, even clashing with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, who insisted the unseen footage didn’t support those claims.
The situation escalated so dramatically that Sinitta walked off stage — followed shortly by Gemma Collins — as tensions reached boiling point.
Later, Ant himself was reportedly flanked by security as he came face-to-face with an angry Jimmy outside the studio — underlining just how close things came to spiralling out of control.

Family first — and a powerful message to his critics
Amid the chaos, Adam made sure to centre what truly matters: his family.
In the same post, he paid an emotional tribute to his wife Caroline, calling her his “rock” and thanking her for standing by him during the toughest moments. He said he wouldn’t be who he is without her support.
He also expressed deep gratitude to fans who voted for him, saying their belief and love meant more than words could ever capture.
But it was his final message that truly closed the chapter — at least for now.
He said he holds no negativity towards those who doubted him or tried to bring him down, adding that he has already won in the ways that matter most. With love, happiness, and authenticity, he said, he has something no one can ever take away.
And in a final, quietly cutting line, he added that he hopes one day they can do the same.
Adam Thomas wrote in full:
“I walked through this journey with my heart first, no matter what came my way. It was not always easy — there were moments that could have broken me, but I stayed true to myself and that is something I will always be proud of.
I have realised that when people try to dim your light, it says more about them than it ever will about you.
This experience has shown me my strength in ways I never imagined. Not because of any title or recognition, but because I stayed kind, I stayed grounded and I stayed real.
Family means everything to me, and there is one person who has been my rock through it all.
Happy birthday to my beautiful wife — you have stood by me when things were tough and reminded me of my strength when I needed it most. I would not be who I am without you.
To everyone who supported me, who believed in me and showed love, thank you — it means more than I can ever put into words.
And to those who doubted me or tried to bring me down, I carry no negativity towards you. I have already won in the ways that matter most.
I have love, I have happiness and I have stayed true to myself — and that is something no one can ever take away from me.
I hope one day you can do the same.”
