AMANDA HOLDEN SPILLS ON HUSBAND’S JEALOUSY OVER ALAN CARR

Amanda Holden has always been open about her close friendship with fellow TV star Alan Carr, but recently, she revealed just how much it makes her husband, Chris Hughes, feel a little jealous.

In a candid chat, Amanda admitted that she and Chris, despite being happily married, often lead “separate lives” due to their busy schedules. But it seems that Alan’s presence in Amanda’s life is a little too much for Chris to handle sometimes! “We’re very happily married, but we do lots of things separately,” Amanda shared, before playfully adding, “Like gossiping away on the phone to Alan Carr…”

The chemistry between Amanda and Alan is undeniable. The duo has worked together on Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job for several years, and their bond goes all the way back to 2009 when Alan first welcomed her onto The Chatty Man sofa. In fact, they’re so close that Amanda even played matchmaker for Alan after his separation from partner Paul Drayton, joking, “I was like Cilla Black!”Amanda and Alan head to Spain for BBC - Televisual

But it’s not just the public that notices their connection. Fans regularly ask why Amanda and Alan aren’t a couple, given their strong chemistry. “Everyone stops us for it more than anything,” Amanda laughed, sharing how often people inquire about Alan when they’re not together.

So, does Chris mind? According to Amanda, while Chris “loves” Alan, there’s a bit of playful jealousy. “I think he’s jealous because I give you way more. I’m nicer to you,” she teased, much to Alan’s amusement.

Despite the jokes, Amanda reassures everyone that her marriage to Chris is rock solid. “We have ups and downs like everyone else,” she said, “but I feel so grateful to have somebody in my life with no complications.” After 20 years together, it’s clear that Amanda and Chris share a “lovely, secure relationship,” even if Alan occasionally steals the limelight. 💕
