Guitar specialist Julyan Wallis delighted followers by announcing it was “nice to be back” upon his return to The Repair Shop.
The TV star took a break over the festive period but has now confirmed his return to the barn. He posted a photograph on Instagram featuring himself alongside crew members and hat specialist Jayesh Vaghela, another of the beloved BBC programme’s familiar faces, reports Gloucestershire Live.
“Nice to be back for 2026 and to catch up with new and old faces, whether they’re crew or experts,” he told his followers on the platform.
He continued: “Here we see a very happy @the_masterhatter along with photobombing cam dude Michael and @catherineozo.”
A second photograph captured Julyan wearing a mask as he set about his work. “A minute or two of dust so H and S compliance,” he wrote. “Woo hoo it’s nice to be back at The Repair Shop!”

Fans of the programme were thrilled at the update, with many posting comments on social media describing it as “brilliant” news.
“Good to see you o wise one,” one admirer posted, while another enthusiastic fan exclaimed: “Yippie!”
Someone else declared it “SUPER BRILLIANT” and one viewer remarked: “I can hear and feel the joy in these pics.”
“Great to see Jules,” added another fan of the series, which sees specialists restoring cherished family heirlooms and treasured keepsakes.

Julyan joined The Repair Shop in 2020, having previously revealed: “I got a call out of the blue and it was a big surprise, when I came to the barn I really enjoyed it.
“I love what the team do and what the show is about, what we’re all trying to achieve,” he added. He continued: “It’s all about love and memories and families and camaraderie. That’s what we’re all about as a team, whether we’re in front or behind the camera – or sitting in an office. We are a big team and we all respect each other, it’s just a joy to be a part of.”
