The 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards aired Sept. 14 on CBS, delivering a night of glamorous gowns, joyful and sweet winners, a lot of trophies for Seth Rogen and one very cringey bit from host Nate Bargatze.
HBO Max hospital drama “The Pitt” walked away with three trophies Sunday night, including the night’s top award for best drama series. Apple TV+’s Hollywood-set black comedy “The Studio” was the runaway favorite, taking home four trophies including best comedy series to bring its overall tally to 13 Emmy wins in 2025. Netflix’s searing crime drama “Adolescence” won six on the night, including best limited series, bringing its total to eight.
Here are all the biggest moments from TV’s biggest night, from the exuberant to the awkward to the powerful and political.
