HGTV Orders ‘Junk Or Jackpot?’ Series From Bobby Berk & John Cena; ‘Rehab Addict’ Star Explains Show’s Abrupt Disappearance
The six-episode season follows collectors as they discover the true monetary value of their massive and unusual collections. Berk will help homeowners decide whether to sell some of their items – ranging from superhero figurines to rare puppets and dolls and miniature sets – to pay for a much-needed renovation of their home.
“With a combination of humor, compassion and a celebration of the passionate collector in all of us, Bobby will support the homeowners through the process of sorting through, appraising and letting go of their stockpile, discovering the ‘found money’ along the way to achieving their dream makeover,” according to the press release.
Junk or Jackpot? (wt) is slated to premiere on HGTV in late 2025.
The series is produced by 44 Blue Productions. Brian Robel and Dan Baime serve as showrunners and executive producers.
