Day and Seidell went with “Dick in a Box,” “United Way” with Peyton Manning, “Christmas Time for the Jews” (in the “Cut for Time” slot), and a “Deep Thoughts”.

“Dick in the Box” is an SNL Hall of Famer, and I love the inclusion of “United Way,” a surprising modern classic that includes a brilliant turn and delivers a slew of literal laugh-out-loud moments. And as a huge “Deep Thoughts” fan, I appreciate the guys fighting for Jack Handey’s absurd musings to get the post-monologue spot, even if it wasn’t technically allowed.
