‘Wheel of Fortune’: Ryan Seacrest Dances With Contestant After $63,000 Win
What a way to end the season. Wheel of Fortune host Ryan Seacrest joined a contestant in a dance after he won $63,000. The educator danced after every puzzle solve in the final episode of Season 43.
The dancer was William Campbell, from Elk River, Minnesota. He has been an educator for 30 years in many different positions and loves to dance and teach his students to dance.
He played against Julia Hoover, from Hobart, Indiana, who solved the first toss-up on June 5. She is a people person who tries to get shy people out of their shells.
Emily Young, from Holland, Michigan, was the third contestant. The gardening lover solved the second toss-up.
After multiple Bankrupts, Campbell solved “Candle Chandelier.” This gave him $1,000.

Campbell took the lead when he solved the “Before & After” puzzle — “Another One Bites the Dust Storm.” This gave him $4,750. He danced after solving the puzzle and got Seacrest to join him.
Hoover got back in the lead when she solved the prize puzzle — “A Storybook Ending” — and rode the Express Train. She won a trip to Utah’s national parks. Hoover had $15,248.
Young solved one of the triple toss-ups while Campbell solved the other two. Campbell solved the final puzzle — “My Printer Won’t Print” — which put him in the lead with $18,650.
Young went home with $4,000. Hoover won $15,248.
Campbell chose “Event” for his Bonus Round category. He brought his wife, Bernadette, with him.
Wheel of Fortune gave the game show contestant “R,S,T,L,N, and E.” Campbell chose “Y,G,D, and O.”
The puzzle looked like “_ G_STY D_Y.” When the clock counted down, Campbell guessed “A Gasty Day” and “A Gusty Day,” which was correct.
$45,000 was in the envelope, which gave him a total of $63,650. Campbell and Seacrest joined hands, picked up their feet, connected them, and then turned in a circle.
“That was a lot of fun,” Seacrest said.

The season ended on a high note. The game show won’t return with new episodes until September for Season 44, but fans can enjoy 10 new episodes of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune on Disney+ on June 12.
“I don’t want to have to wait until September for new episodes. But we must,” a Reddit user said.
“Wait, wtf it’s over already?” a fan asked with crying emojis.
“I hope Vanna comes back; otherwise, I will be sad that they didn’t give her a proper farewell. In any case, ending the season with William put a smile on my face. He had a winning smile & personality,” a third added.
