The salon where one of the victims of the horrific road traffic collision in Louth over the weekend worked has shared a heartbreaking message after the passing of their ‘amazing’ employee.

Lisdoonan Hairdressers in Monaghan, where 23-year-old Chloe McGee worked, announced that the salon would not be opening on Saturday, November 22, due to her passing, saying that she was ‘a big part’ of their lives. They wrote: “The salon will not be opened Saturday 22nd November due to the passing of Chloe.

“Chloe was a big part of our lives and anyone who touched base with her knew she was just amazing. She made many’s a wee person’s morning whilst getting them dolled up for their communions, confirmations, family weddings or just the wee plaits she [used to] do.

“For the older clientele she would have plenty of stories of college life, love life, work life and life at home with her family who she truly loved and cherished. She was such a family-oriented girl. Totally devastated. RIP.”
