“Three years ago, I said goodbye — but I never stopped missing him,” Anne-Marie confessed through tears. In an emotional new interview, the singer finally opened up about Sir Tom Jones’s shocking departure from The Voice — a moment she calls “the hardest goodbye of my career.” Fans still remember the raw silence that followed his final taping, when Anne-Marie whispered, “Are you done?” and he simply smiled. Now, after years of speculation, she’s breaking her silence — revealing what really happened behind the cameras and why that farewell still haunts her every time she steps on stage.

“We had like all sorts of classical singers, opera singers. We have had everything,” the Troublemaker star continued.

“And it’s like, I think Tom just gets so excited by hearing all these new artists coming through and all these different styles.

“And he’s still here, he’s still in it. I mean, I hope in 60 years I’m still rocking it on The Voice.”

Earlier on in the series, Sir Tom made Anne Marie cry when he paid a tribute to his late wife Linda.

“And he was singing that song and he said, ‘This is to my wife’ and he just f****d me up.”

Olly added: “To see someone who loved his wife so much, you could see the pain.”

The Voice blind auditions are well underway, and this weekend a fresh batch of contestants will take to the stage in a bid to impress the judges.

Once the panel have selected their final contestants, they will then battle it out with each other as they whittle the performers down.
